We had the most wonderful surprise birthday getaway at Pea Cottage. The cozy and romantic hotel was everything we could have asked for. The owners put so much effort into making our stay special. We loved all the little touches and details, made the cottage extra charming. Exploring the local area was a delight, especially the tandem bike ride and Fred's walk. Sitting by the fire on a winter's evening with a glass of wine was pure bliss. We can't recommend Pea Cottage enough to others looking for a magical escape.
Another guest mentioned a minor inconvenience of a beetle attack, but we can't hold that against them. The wildflower meadow outside provided beautiful views, and Andrew was always available for any queries we had.

The accommodation was absolutely stunning, with so many lovely details that made it feel like a home away from home. The hosts were incredibly attentive and provided everything we could possibly need for our stay. We especially enjoyed the treasure hunt upon arrival, it was such a fun and unique way to start our weekend getaway. the surrounding area was beautiful, with plenty of local pubs and even a tandem bike for us to explore the countryside. We had such a great time pedaling around and taking in the scenic views.
Honestly, there was very little to dislike about our experience. If I had to nitpick, I would say that adjusting the heating could have been easier, as it would have been nice to have the option to control it to our liking.

I was very impressed with my recent stay at Pea Cottage. From the luxurious feel of the accommodation to the comfortable bed and sofas, everything exceeded my expectations. The log burner added a cozy touch, and the view of nature from the window was a treat. The high-speed broadband kept my partner happy, and the record player with lit candles created a lovely ambiance. The cottage had all the necessary amenities for a self-catering stay, making it feel like a home away from home. The owners were cute and accommodating, making communication easy. it was a fabulous and comfortable experience.
The kitchen could use better lighting for easier food preparation. The firestarters provided were not long-lasting, requiring frequent use of plastic-sachet material.

We got amazing value for our money at Pea Cottage, with a luxurious and comfortable room that was so nice. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful rural setting while still being close to nightlife and shopping. The staff was good, providing complete privacy and excellent communication.
The morning meal could be improved with a wider variety of cooking supplies, such as cooking oil, to make self-catering easier.

I recently stayed at the beautiful Pea Cottage for a weekend getaway. The location was peaceful and the cottage itself was absolutely gorgeous. The big comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom with a roll top bath, and spacious kitchen/lounge/dining room were all highlights. The cottage was warm and cosy, and there was always plenty of hot water. I especially enjoyed the Prosecco Hunt, which added a fun and unique touch to my stay. The host, Andrew, was delightful and gave us complete privacy. The Crosley record player and records provided a lovely touch, allowing us to relax on the comfy sofas and enjoy music instead of watching TV. The host also provided excellent directions for a delightful country walk, and there were plenty of activities and sights to explore in the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this accommodation and hope to visit again.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The perfect weekend getaway! The location was ideal, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, offering peace and quiet. Close to attractions like Rutland water and with plenty to see and do nearby. The cottage was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, with attention to detail that made it feel like a true haven. We loved the thoughtful touches, like the record player and the Prosecco hunt. The host was welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. a high-quality experience.
While the cottage was well-equipped, we found it a bit disappointing that some basic cooking essentials like cooking oil were not provided. It would have been more convenient for guests to not have to worry about packing these items for a short stay.

We got great value for our money at Pea Cottage. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the charming English village and easy access to Stamford. The staff at Pea Cottage were friendly and helpful, always there when we needed them but also gave us our privacy.
The only thing that could make the breakfast experience better would be to have a wider variety of options.
